Join Pasta Pantry in the Community This Canada Day at Broadmoor Lake Park!

Sherwood Park is gearing up for another great day of celebrating all things Canada! Broadmoor Lake Park plays host to Strathcona County’s largest festival of the year, with lots of free and family friendly activities that everyone will enjoy. The day will get started with a Pancake Breakfast supported by the Canadian Progress Club from 9 AM until 1130 AM, and from there you can find tons of interactive activities, crafts, backyard games and festival entertainment for all ages to enjoy!

Where can you catch Pasta Pantry in the middle of all that action? We’ll be waving our red and white flags from our tent at Festival Place! Join us for a game of Pasketball to try and pasta toss your way to some serious Canada Day prizes. The rules are simple – you toss a short piece of pasta into the basket to score a point! The more ‘paskets’ you sink, the more chances you have to win! Come show us your jump shot and score some swag.

What else does the day have in store? Lord Strathcona’s Horse (Royal Canadians, armoured regiment of the Canadian Army!) will be on site from 10 AM to 5 PM to ring in Canada’s 151st birthday with us! Indoor and outdoor activities will be happening throughout the day at Festival Place, Broadmore Lake Park, and the arena parking lot Prairie Toyota Fun Zone! The evening will be capped off with a performance by Juno nominated country singer Julian Austin on the Imperial Stage at 9:30 PM – a show not to be missed! End your spectacular day with the classic fireworks show under the stars at 11 PM.

The restaurant on Granada Boulevard will be closed for the day, so come find us at the festival grounds for the day. We can’t wait to see you!
