Now Edmontonians Can Get Their Pasta Fasta
You’ve probably caught on by now that something’s cookin’ at Manning Town Centre. Pasta Pantry is proud to be opening our second location, brand new to Edmonton so all you YEGgers can satisfy your pasta cravings without making the trek to Sherwood Park!
We caught up with Nathan Satanove, founding partner and president of Pasta Pantry to get the scoop on the progress of our newest addition to the family.
What is unique about this new Edmonton location of Pasta Pantry?
We are not reinventing the pasta pantry wheel. We have been operating in Sherwood Park for 26 years this August. We will be the only locally owned and operated restaurant and possibly retailer in Manning Town Centre. I see being the little guy or underdog as an advantage. We are going to keep it simple and do what we do best. Make pasta and sauce from scratch and offer an elevated level of customer service that you just do not see in the quick service sector of the hospitality industry anymore.
PP Manning is hiring! Who is the perfect fit for the Pasta Pantry team?
We definitely are hiring! A perfect fit is someone who has a keen eye for detail, is self-motivated and looking to take their skills to the next level. We will be hiring for all positions, from someone who is just starting their first job all the way up to management. We’ll be adding up to 60 new jobs in Edmonton with this location so if you know someone talented, have them send a resume to jobs@pastapantry.ca!
Are there any plans of continuing the Pasta Pantry expansion?
Definitely! However, one store at a time. I really want to test the model in Manning Town, test the design layout and make sure we get it right. The hospitality industry is rapidly evolving and we need to stay ahead of the curve. Our fans have been calling for a south Edmonton location and I do not want to let them down! Stay tuned!
Rome wasn’t built in a day but we are motoring to get the doors open by fall. We are so thrilled to share this new chapter and even more excited to be bringing Real Food, Real Fresh, Real Fast to the NE Edmonton community at Manning Crossing.
