Reintroducing the Pasticcio!

You might have seen our now famous pasticcio on the menu, but when was the last time you enjoyed the delectable combination of baked pasta and sauce?

Most customers may be familiar with Italian essentials like pasta and meatballs, but some of our more casual diners might not know about the pasticcio, a food item that every person needs to try at least once.

Similar to its cousin, lasagna, pasticio (it goes by many different spellings) comes in many varieties depending on the location and culture. The Greeks like to use spices like cinnamon and clove, while us Italians prefer to keep it simple with lots of different pastas and cheeses.

Pasta Pantry has three different sauces to choose from when it comes to our pasticcio: meat, hot Italian sausage, and vegetable. Make sure you experiment and discover which one you enjoy the most!

Our secret for a powerful pasticcio? The cheese. Pasta Pantry’s blend of mozza, parmigano, pecorino romano, ricotta, and asiago make for a dish that can’t be denied. Unlike other restaurants, Pasta Pantry understands that some people can’t stomach the idea of eating regular pasta because they can’t have gluten in their diet.

That’s why we’ve got a special gluten free edition for our celiac friends and those who are working with food allergies or intolerances. Just let us know before you order and we’ll be extra careful with your tasty meal.

Are you in the mood for some pasticcio? Stop by Pasta Pantry and try some today or take those amazing flavours home with you and enjoy it with the family. $9.95 gets you a small pasticcio, while $12.95 gets you as much pasticcio as you can handle while you’re at the restaurant.
