Highlights of an amazing year!
2018 proved to be action-packed and full of growth for the Pasta Pantry family. Let’s take a look at some of the key moments that made the last 12 months so memorable:
Pasta Pantry in Manning Town Centre
An obvious list-topper and milestone in our 2018 story, opening our second location was an exciting undertaking! From planning out and executing all the little details to finding the right team to carry out the Pasta Pantry mission, we kept our sights high and eyes on the prize. Pasta Pantry Manning Town Centre officially opened the doors on October 15, 2018.
Free Swim Wednesdays in Strathcona County
Over the last year Pasta Pantry teamed up with the leisure centres of Strathcona County to provide a free after school swim night. Community has always been an important focus for us and we were excited to encourage healthy, fun activities in our neighbourhood!
the Meatball Sub made the official Menu
Our meatballs are a Pasta Pantry classic; for years we’ve thrown together the ultimate snack – a few meatballs in a fresh bun – and watched our guests catch on and craft their own DIY meatball creations from a la carte menu items. It was only a matter of time before this delicious sandwich found a permanent home on the regular menu; this year we finally perfected this lunchtime favourite and gave it a proper home on the Pasta Pantry menu. Toasted torpedo bun, tender meatballs and extra sauce are among the not-so-secret ingredients that make this the best meatball sub we’ve ever tried. Add it to your 2019 must-taste list if you haven’t joined the sub club yet!
Pasta Pantry Launches a new Website and App
With our rebrand and new look launched in 2017, we eagerly moved ahead with a refreshed website and brand new Pasta Pantry App! Our friends at Habit helped bring the vision to life and our brand transformation now feels complete – change is good and 2018 was full of it!
